Blog dah bersawang..

Warggghh! Blog saya dah bersawang! baru sedar yang dah berbulan tak update blog. Hmm..actually I've been so busy with my work and life. But as people said, "Nak seribu daya, taknak sejuta dalih", saya pun macam tula..huhu..

It's now December!!! And in less than 2 weeks, we are going to meet new year! Can't wait! I love Australia after Malaysia hehehe.. Let's hear my story:

Dulu masa di Shenzhen in 2010, I went to a place named Windows of the World. I could see many reproductions of famous sites from different countries such as Mahamuni Pagoda of Rangoon and the Angkor Watt of Cambodia, European architectural splendors like Eiffel Tower, the Ancient Athens, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Tower of London, the cruel and bloody scene of miniature Roman Colosseum, the canals of Venice, the Pyramids and the Sphinx of Africa, the Oceania, Sydney Opera House of Australia, Niagara Falls and Grand Canyon of America, replica of Manhattan with towering skyscrapers. In Fact, Masjid Shah Alam was also in the list. When I saw the replica of Sydney Opera House, I really wanted to see the real Opera House so I put Australia as my next goal. Since I love travelling so much, shopping is no longer my best friend (Hahaha).

Therefore, last February when Airasia (now everyone can fly) opened a route to Sydney and luckily I was in the page (actually I wanted to book air ticket to Gold Coast), I told my friends about this promo. We then booked the tickets after taking all the considerations.
We are living..Bye Bye Malaysia!

And hey, last July, the four of us went to Sydney and we saw Sydney Opera House in actual!! My dream comes true!!!!! I always believe in Allah in whatever I do. I’ve covered many places in Sydney such as Blue Mountains, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Zoo (Kangaroo!! Koala!!!), meanwhile in Melbourne, my friends and I had a chance to visit Mount Buller for snow sports, Fish Market, Victoria Market (a place to buy souvenirs)  and Town City.

Kangaroo in real!!
Koala

It is not hard to find ‘halal’ food in Australia especially in Melbourne. However, the price for food there is quite expensive where the range would be around rm30++ per plate. We had so much fun there till my friends had a thought to migrate to Australia. However, nothing can change my love for Malaysia.^_^
One of the Halal restaurants here..
Sooo happy together!
Springwood. off to Blue Mountains
Preety cool huh??
ABC
Melbourne is a nice place to stay

Bali with family

Krabi turned up to be Phuket..

Since 16th September was off day for all employees in Malaysia, my friend and I decided to go on holidays..Krabi had become our destination. We took a train to Hatyai then took a bus to Krabi. However, our trip this time I would say wasn’t good as I thought. Well, let’s begin with the train. Train should be at 7.00a.m, but it was delayed until 10.00am. Therefore, it has ruined everything including our schedule to Krabi. As it was our first time to Krabi, we had no idea where it is. The trip should be 5hours only so after five hours we had reached to Krabi but there was no bus station like Puduraya or Shahab Perdana. So, we didn’t leave the bus until we reach to the last station.

Nak dijadikan cerita, at last rupanya dah sampai Phuket. Omaigod!!! It took 7hours to reach Phuket everyone...Jadi persiapan untuk ke Phuket memang tiada. Dahla bayar tiket bus ke Krabi je. Camna ek??Dosa tak??Nasib belum book hotel di Krabi. So, kami pun redah je hotel yang berdekatan. Luckily, ada hotel yang selesa dan murah. With only 1200bath u can have  a nice room.(nama hotel tak brapa ingat Palace Hotel kot huhu..)

Tambahan pula pada hari kedua saya tak berapa sihat so memang takda mood langsung la. We just took a package for island trip and walk around. Janji, I dah sampai Phuket gituuu...Jangan tiru macam saya ye. Anda kena buat persediaan!

Ramai kan orang??

Percutian terkini...Bangkok Part1

Travelling steals my heart most!! Dulu minat giler shopping (sekarang pun masih) tapi kurang sikit dah sejak minat meneroka negara orang. Namun begitu, kerana belum bekerja, I just focus at nearest countries which are cheap and easy to go..The most important thing, menggunakan penerbangan tambang murah Airasia...Segala impian boleh menjadi nyata =)

Baru-baru ini, seperti yang sedia maklum, I went to Bangkok. Sebelum tu memang banyakla masalahnya. Malas nak cerita, korang tengok entry yang sebelum-sebelum ni okay. But Alhamdulillah, akhirnya masalah tersebut dapat diatasi.

I took a train to Hatnyai because it was very near to my hometown rather than take a flight at LCCT. Then, I took a flight from Hatnyai to Bangkok which cost about 60US Dollar for return tickets... Cheap Right?? Readers,we have to be very smart all the time..Dari penerbangan, hotel, shopping sampaila nak balik ke rumah ok?? There, we didn't really know where to go because I was not in a good mood to travel that time. Maybe it's because of my problem so I didn't prepare much for the vacation. Luckily, we have booked the hotel through online so we just went to find our hotel to take a rest. One more tip here is, book your hotel through online. It's cheap! Don't just walk in because they usually expensive unless you go to cheap hotels which are very uncomfortable.

Jika anda seorang yang adventurous, tak perlula take a cab all the time..Cuba gunakan train sebab anda akan dapat berjimat. But if in Bangkok, I suggest you to use meter taxi rather than Tut-tut..You wouldn't be cheated plus the price is more reasonable. If you go on Saturday or Sunday, do go to Chatuchak Market which is very famous. Banyak sangat stalls for shopping. Jadi kalau dah berkenan kat satu2 barang, sila  la beli terus! For your information, barang-barang dia tak murah jugak k!

Genting Highlands..(Kota Keriangan)

To those who have never been to Genting Highland and plan to go, here I would like to give a few tips. For local people, you can go direct to Genting Highland by your own transport or by bus. Buses are provided at KL central every one hour trip which cost you RM9.30 per person including skyway (cheap okay). However, if you choose to stay there and play the games, I suggest you to buy the package provided. Genting Highland always makes promotions regarding the hotels especially First World Hotel. If you have credit card, then it would be better for you to use your credit card to book the hotel. However, for those who do not have credit card, just buy the package from the nearest booth and go there with other people. You can ask the price first, then calculate it yourself how much you have lost. I don't think it cost you much. Skyway ticket cost RM5 one way and the outdoor game cost RM40++. First World Hotel cost RM130 (walk in) which is the cheapest hotel there. The price applies the same to the tourists so you don't have to worry.

Why should go to Genting???
Well, if you ask me I would say there is nothing much at Genting. Perhaps, I always go there so I don't know. However, for those who like Gambling (non-muslim), this place is for you. Plus, this place is very cold like living in London (hahaha meh verangan). Yes food is expensive may be for local people but somehow it's nice to be there.Bowling is CHEAP!!!!

Hatnyai

This weekend, I plan to go to Hatnyai. Actually, I want to go to Bangkok but due to the distance and time-consuming, it will be postponed to some other times. According to Wikipedia, Hatnyai is a city in southern Thailand near the boundary to Malaysia. Located at 7°1′N 100°28′E / 7.017°N 100.467°E / 7.017; 100.467, it has a population of 157,359 (2008) in the city itself and about 800,000 in the greater Hat Yai area. Hat Yai is the largest city of Songkhla Province, the largest metropolitan area in Southern, and third largest metropolitan area of the country. It is is often mistaken as being the capital of the province, but Songkhla is the capital and the center of administration and culture, while Hat Yai is the business center. The two cities are considered as twin cities due to their close connection, and accordingly, Hat Yai and Songkhla form the Greater Hatyai-Songkhla Metropolitan Area.

I've been to Hatnyai last year and it was great but this time, I want to visit places that I've not visited before. You should know that Hatnyai is a great place for shopping. It is also easier for you to find HALAL food here. Since it is really near to my house, so I choose train to travel by. It only takes 3hours to reach there by train and 1hour by car. I can't wait to spend my weekend there~ Will let you know soon..

Macau, City of Gambling

Mungkin sebab nak pergi Los Angeles tu jauh, tiket flight pulak mahal, so gamblers tend to go to Macau sebab murah dan dekat.

Tapi group kami je..orang lain tak pulak kena check..I felt so UNFAIR and DISCRIMINATED. Bags sumer kena buka and check.

The Gambling City), so kalau nak pergi jalan-jalan this is not a good place to go. Kasino bersepah-sepah and orang Macau ni suka berjudi. Even kat tepi-tepi jalan pun dorg boleh berjudi. Perut sangat lapar tapi tak berani makan sebab takut tak halal. Was-was pun tak boleh ye!

P/S: Kat Negara China ni, parents suka biarkan punggung anak kecil mereka terdedah.

The train station is called METRO station and it’s very easy to reach the stations.

Map at each station

It's better to use travel card (like touch&go) when travelling

Kat Hong Kong agak susah untuk dapatkan makanan halal. Saya makan keropok and minum jus ja sepanjang kat sana. Pernah sekali try makan Maggie sebab lapar sangat, dah check ingredient dia sumer tapi maybe overlook tup2 ada pork dalam ingredient tersebut. OMG!!! I dah makan okeh!! From that on, terus takda mood nak makan apa-apa..Perut pun rasa lain macam je. I wonder la people yang suka makan benda-benda haram such as alcohols, drugs, makanan dari kerja yang haram tu..Tak rasa berdosakah??

Like I care la kan?? Rasanya orang Indonesia. Then, I cakap kat kawan, “Dah nak balik baru jumpa orang yang bertudung”. Tetiba, jumpa lak Shasha Bashir kat airport tu. Nak balik KL gak, Dia mungkin pergi buat pengambaran kat Macau tapi tak pulak terserempak masa kat sana, nak balik baru nampak. Kawan cakap dia pergi gambling kot! Tak mungkinla..

Ni untuk peringatan anda, kalau nak pergi HK silalah book hotel awal-awal. Jangan harapkan pergi sana baru nak cari ye..Memang susah! Tambah pula kalau time anda pergi tu festive season. Mencari sampai pagila jawabnya. Akhirnya kami jumpa juga hotel budget yang kosong and cost HK500 per day/ RM205. Bayangkan anda boleh nampak sport cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Mercedes kat tepi-tepi jalan je..Dorang ni pulak suka kereta yang 2 pintu jah. Saya rasa sangat membazir!! Tapi kalau yang miskin, sampai takda rumah. Kesian sangat. Other thing, dorang ni sangat rajin. Kebanyakkan mereka suka berniaga. Jadi, kedai dibuka seawal pukul5 pagi dan tutup selewat 1 pagi. 4 jam je tidur iskh2..

Shenzhen, City for Shopaholics

We reached Shenzhen a bit late. Kat sana pukul 6p.m. cuaca dah gelap macam pukul 8p.m. kat Malaysia walaupun waktu sebenar adalah sama. We stayed for 2 nights.

(cost:RMB5@±RM2.50)

I had so much fun in China!!

Maaf sangat-sangat dah lama tak tulis blog. Internet slow. Leceh tul!! Bagi yang follow my blog, I believe you know that I’ve been to China for a week (9 days actually). So now, I’m going to tell the experience. That was my first time went to China for sure sebab tu excited nak cerita kat korang semua. HAHA. My flight to Macau was on 26thOct 2010 at 12.20 noon so I flew from Kedah at 8.35am and reached KL at 9.30a.m. Then, makan-makan and check in to Macau at about 11a.m. Kalau ke luar Negara counter pendaftaran dibuka 3 jam awal and kalau dalam negara, 2 jam je. Kaunter close 45minutes before the departure which means jika anda terlambat, silalah beli tiket kapal terbang yang baru ye..If your flight is at 12.20, silalah check in or lapor diri, daftar luggage, ambil tiket segala 45 minit sebelum tu ok! Then, masa check in luggage, body shower yang baru beli kena rampas dengan kastam sebab melebihi 100ml. For your information, kalau nak pergi ke luar Negara barang-barang liquid hendaklah kurang dari 100ml ye..Even if you have used the liquid but at the bottle stated 100ml or more, still kena rampas. So janganlah bawa, beli ja kat negara yang anda nak pergi tu ada jual..Then, sampai di Macau kena tahan dengan polis untuk buat inspection. Macam-macam lagi la perkara berlaku. Mari ikuti kisah selanjutnya..

 Laksa at KL (cost: RM9.90)

 Inside the cabin

Perjalanan ke Macau mengambil masa selama 3jam 40minit which was so long to us (tak sabar-sabar). Sampai je di sana, we planned to go straight away to Shenzhen. Cuaca di Macau sangat windy, cold and nice. Tak berpeluh okies! Kami menaiki ferry je Shenzhen. One thing you should know, if you want to go to Shenzhen, you must have a visa. It will cost only RM110 (depend on the travel agency) untuk sekali masuk. Kalau dah keluar dari Negara tu, anda kena buat visa baru untuk masuk balik. Negara yang bukan komanwel, anda kena buat visa ye..Hong Kong and Macau tak perlu sebab mereka adalah Negara Komanwel.

I'm looking forward for the vacation..

I now concentrate on my vacation next 2 weeks. A lot of preparations need to be done such as hotels, places to visit and transportation to move from one place to another place. I have to calculate carefully so that I wouldn't over the budget. Nak pergi banyak hari kan so kenala bijak berbelanja. Kalau tak, mati kutu kami di sana nanti..Okeh, my first day there, I will stop at Macau. We will stay there maybe for one day only to have a good rest because we will arrive there in the evening so no time to jalan-jalan. Next day, we will go to Shenzen for 2days (maybe) then, take a ferry to Hong Kong for few days (3 or 4days). I really want to go to Disneyland!! But i heard Disneyland is very expensive. Bayangkan hotel dia untuk 2 hari saja seribu lebih (more than 1000). Nak masuk dalam maybe 3, 4 ratus. Ishk!! Then, we will drive(tak tau lagi nek apa sebenarnya) back to Macau and stay there until the last day because we have booked the return ticket at Macau.

P/S: Anyone wants to help me `bout the hotel??

Sarawak makes me HAPPY!!

Have you been to Sarawak?? If you are planning to spend your holiday in somewhere, Sarawak would be the best choice (macam nak tulis essay lak hehe). Though many people said Sabah is the best place to go, I still suggest to all of you to visit Sarawak. Sarawak in my opinion is much better than Sabah in term of development. Sarawak nampak lagi pesat dan membangun. There are many places you can go. If you want to see Sarawak longhouse that famous among Sarawakian, you can go to Annah Rais Longhouse.  If you want to see Orang Utan Semenggoh Wildlife Centre would be the best place. Apart from that, you may also want to go to Sarawak Cultural Village and Bako National Park. I tell you what, the city (Kuching) itself is great!

Those who do not know what to buy in Sarawak, I recommend you to buy Kek Lapis Sarawak, Ikan Terubuk Masin, Sarawak pepper and so on. Don't buy a common thing such as keychain for souvenir ok friends. What food to eat in Sarawak? You can try Laksa Sarawak, Kolo Mee for the noodle enthusiast in Kuching and Midin (a wild fern found ONLY in Sarawak). Best tak? However, I advise you to spend only few days during your vacation. It is so tiring to go for one week holiday. 4 or 5 days are enough. Spend your day wisely! Don't stay at your room from 7pm to 9a.m. It is a waste! Kalau nak tidur baik tak payah pergi bercuti.

Here are some pictures that I can share with you;

 Annah Rais Longhouse

Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

Sarawak City Center

Sungai Sarawa
(Boleh naik sampan kalau nak ke seberang)

For your information, I just went to Sarawak for one and a half day. If I went there for 3 or 4 days, maybe I can tell you more about Sarawak. So, don't miss out to go holiday in your own country!

P/S: Don't forget to bring your GPS to save your cost..
